OUR CLIENTS

Gas Storage Advisors serves a wide variety of clients. We are frequently called upon to assist clients who themselves provide services for, or interact with, the gas storage industry.  Our consultants provide expert advice and assistance to storage operating companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, law firms, and government agencies. We also assist engineering and construction companies with new gas storage facilities and work with private investors in the development  of gas storage projects or the acquisition of existing projects, operating facilities, and storage companies.

WHO WE ARE

Our consulting management team consists of veterans of the gas storage business.

Mike McCall is President and a Principal Consultant with over 20 years experience in the hydrocarbon storage business and over 40 years total experience in the energy business. Mr. McCall has direct management experience in building and operating over 30 salt cavern storage caverns and holds 12 patents related to gas storage.

Jim Walzel is a Principal Consultant.  He is a gas industry expert who has over 50 years experience in all facets of the industry.  Mr. Walzel has managed gas storage operations and development activities as well as major pipeline and gas supply operations.

Ed Collins is a Principal Consultant and a highly experienced project management specialist.
His 40 year professional career includes 30 years as a leading engineering company executive and senior project manager and 10 years as a senior project manager for individual projects.

Terry Mitchell is a Principal Consultant whose 30-year career includes geology, gas and LNG asset development, and commercial management, including the procurement of gas supply, storage and transportation services for power plants nationwide.  He has participated in numerous project feasibility, energy-market, and gas storage studies, energy-infrastructure development projects and the negotiation of commercial energy-resource contracts.

This management team coordinates the efforts of seasoned commercial and technical professionals who are dedicated to providing the advice and insights that our Clients need to succeed in the highly competitive gas storage business.
